A Dangerous of the Drugs Abuse

Today  I need to do a public speaking. This is my second assessment and it consist 10% of my carry mark. I feel so nervous for this activity. Even though I just present it in front of my classmate and teacher, I still feel scared. So this is my script for my speaking... what do you guys think about it... please do comment on this:

Assalamualaikum and Happy Independent Day to respected Director of IKM KL Tuan Hj Norzainee Shah Bin Ibrahim, Deputy of Student Affair En Adnan Bin Jamaluddin, Deputy of Academy Affair Puan Rosnani Binti Mohd Rosdi, Our English lecture, Madam Ardania Bt Ayub and to all my friends.

Today I want to deliver a speech about a dangerous of the drugs abuse. Drugs are actually a painkiller but the human misused the drugs for fun and satisfaction. Most popular drugs used in the world are heroin, morphine, marijuana and syabu. Many countries ban the dangerous drugs including Malaysia. This is because of drugs abuse can make many problems to people and country. They also dislike by normal society.

Drug abuse is actually caused by a variety of factors. The first factor is the desire to try something new, when they are together with their addicts is will be more easily affected and easy to get supplies.  Secondly, stress and depression by personal problem, included family and work problems also can make someone to abuse drugs. When emotional pressure is out of control, they will make the drugs become their loyal friends who can let them forget the pressured. Abuse are also caused by the lack of knowledge of the effects of the addicted drugs. Therefore, there are so many teenagers now when they have tasted the favours of drugs, they think nothing can will happen to them. If we can have listed one by one the bad effects of drugs we can see negative impact like the emotional, social, physical and mental effects. Other than, the environment factor such as a family have a person who addicted to drug also give a bad impression to the society.

The bad effect of drugs, one of them is emotional disturbances of drug influences is they feel so strong and willing to do the crimes such as rape, robber the bank, kill and so on (etc.). It’s also give a mental and physical effect such as nerve disorders and HIV disease. Besides that, drug abuse can effect family institution and will cause the household to be feel unsafe. Additionally, children who see their parents abusing drugs will definitely follow it too. Drugs abuse also waste of money. Examples of wasting the most obvious money can be seen in the drug addict itself. Additionally, the government has wasting the money for Pusat Serenti, Pusat Pemulihan Dadah and PUSPEN.

To deal with drug abuse is education about the dangers of drugs from primary school. This education will prevent teenagers before they stuck into drugs. Education should be done by parents, teachers, government and NGO. They should play an important role in promoting the dangers of drugs. We should not focus only to drug user, must prevent from their dealing supplier or drugs trafficker. The drug traffickers should be punished accordingly.
In conclusion, drugs can make many bad effects to society. Drug abuse is also due to many factors. But there are many ways to tackle this abuse and we have to keep fighting drugs before getting worse.
